Houston is our first English Setter and what a Setter!

After years discussion of banning one of our other breeds in Denmark, The American Staffordshire Terrier, we decided to stop our breeding with these wonderful dogs. Tonny bred them for 16 years and it was his heart he gave up because of stupidity of some people.

Instead he persuade a childhood dream, namely to own an English Setter. We knew that we wanted a Setter that could fulfilled our dreams. A loyal, gentle, funny, beautiful and breathtaking dog.

We looked at shows around the world and also homepages and every time we loved the look of an English Setter, they came from the same breeder or were offspring from Set'r Ridge's kennels in USA, owned by the world famous Melissa Newman.

Houston is what some people would call a Show Setter, which in our opinion is rubbish. He hunts and points like other pointing dogs, the only differences is that he is bath and groomed every week to keep him in coat.

Houston is our “ Gentle Giant “. So sweet and careful towards all creature. A Dream has come true. He already has won the breed in more countries and as the first Danish owned English setter he won the Junior title in Luxembourg and made the day by winning BIS 2 Junior.

Just one month later he won BIG 1 on DKK International Hillerød. We know this is only the beginning to a long wonderful travel.
